How to Edit the HTML Code of My Page in Nicepage?

Ask a Question

Hello Nicepage Team,

I am using Nicepage to design my WordPress website, and I need to make direct modifications to the HTML code of a specific page. Specifically, I want to edit a section that currently uses a background image defined in CSS (background-image) and replace it with an <img> tag to improve performance in Google PageSpeed Insights.

However, after reviewing the files on my server (in public_html/wp-content/themes/my-theme/ and wp-content/plugins/nicepage/), I cannot find the editable HTML code of the page. I have checked files such as home.php, index.php, nicepage.php, and functions.php, but it seems that the content is dynamically generated.

Could you please clarify:

How can I access and edit the HTML code of a specific page in Nicepage?
Where are the files for each page stored in WordPress when using Nicepage?
If Nicepage generates sections dynamically, is there a way to modify the source code directly?
I would appreciate your guidance.

Best regards,

Dear Heberto,

Thanks for reaching out to us

It is possible to edit the HTML code only after exporting your project to HTML. However, if you are exporting to WordPress, Nicepage does not recommend direct modification of the generated code, as the content is dynamically generated within WordPress using the Nicepage plugin.

If you need to modify elements such as the background image or improve performance, we recommend using WordPress custom CSS or modifying settings within the Nicepage editor. For performance optimization, consider using tools such as caching plugins, optimized images, or lazy loading instead of manually altering the code.

Let us know if you need further assistance!

Ahmad.
