There are a number of places within the nicepage where the UI/UX is not consistent leading to a confusing user experience and incorrect display and adjustment of properties. Here is an example where it is a clear defect even when nicepage is attempting to provide clarity, although through a user experience that is not ideal - and more than anything not intuitive.
In this simple example, I have a grid with multiple cells. Select a single cell and view the properties panel.
Design defect #1
The properties panel has the title "Grid"
The first section "Position" provides the ability to align the Grid, correct?
No, the alignment is for the selected Cell.
In the same Position section, the Width, Height, X/Y coordinates are for the Grid, not the cell.
Design defect #2
In the properties panel, there is a section named "Active Cell"
Here are two options for how to resolve this design defect:
A. The Alignment controls for the Cell should be in this section. (Obvious fix)
B. The property panel should ONLY show the context of the Active Cell - and not show anything for the Grid, because the grid is not selected. (Expected behavior. Preferred fix)
Design defect #3
There is not a way to specify the Width/Height for the cell.
If nicepage is going to invent unique designs, then it needs to at least be consistent across these design decisions in a way that benefits users. Being more intuitive is more important than being unique.
