Is this possible yet, or in development? The ability to change the date of the post is very important, right now it is baked in and there is no possibility to adjust it seems. Please bring this basic functionality!

This is the setting that comes from your CMS post settings, so please adjust the dates in Wordpress or Joomla backend for your posts. In Nicepage you can adjust the Metadata element appearance. Please let us know if you mean anything different.

Thank you for the response. But, is it possible to change the date of a blogpost in Nicepage alone if I do not use WordPress or Joomla? I don't see any possibility to adjust the date for individual blog posts (I am trying to import some past-posts, but they always just take the current date without me being able to change it.)

At least Nicepage could have the function to move the posts up and down so that they appear in a particular order on the page. Heck we can put the date in the body of the post but they have to sort in reverse chronology order...
we can sort them by date by doing 2025/08 etc so that will sort the posts and then put the date in the body. that does work at least...

Nicepage Blog currently doesn’t offer native tools for manually reordering posts or dynamically controlling post display logic (like "drag-to-reorder" or pinning).
Since static HTML doesn’t have a backend like WordPress, posts are typically sorted based on:
File name or folder name
Or the order in which blocks are placed manually
Your workaround of naming posts with a date prefix (like 2025/08) to enforce reverse chronology is a great solution.

If you're exporting the blog statically and using an old project file, it may not dynamically update the post date.
If you're publishing through WordPress or Joomla with Nicepage, the CMS post date might be overriding your changes.

Add a possibility to change date of creation and date edited.
I'm also porting a blog from my old provider. and it will be great to sort posts.
Also it is more than needed to change edited date, so posts will show to the user in order I want to.
