URGENT: WordPress complains "index.php missing" when uploading a theme

Hi there,

I've upgraded to NP version 2.2.4 yesterday and have created a website today to be exported and uploaded to a given WP.

After uploading the ZIP file to WP (Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload Theme -> Choose File -> Install Now) I receive an error message stating that the theme is missing the index.php file.

After exporting the site to a folder and uploading the folder to wp-content/themes the theme is not displayed as an option in WP. In addition, when I look into the folder, there's no index.php.

Can you please fix this and/or advise?

Hi Holger,

I have tested the WP export on my end with the new version and all went just fine. Please let me know if that happens with any project or with a specific one? If that is a specific one, please attach it to the ticket.

It's hard to say why that happened but your project was missing the Blog and Post templates. Please download this fixed project:

Hello,

I am using an older version of NicePage (1.19.2) and have the exact same error. Is there any way to add the Blog and Post templates? I hope this has been fixed in the latest version.

Please create a separate topic and attach the theme exported as the Project.
