Favicon does not take over Joomla

Please explain the issue in more details. You have added the favicon in the desktop application, exported the theme and the favicon does not appear on the site? Provide a link to the site with the issue and attach your project.

I created the Favicon icon with a Favicon icon generator. I inserted this picture in Nicepage. I can see the picture in the settings. I imported the Nicepage data for menu and graphics on my Joomla website. Unfortunately, it does not show the favicon. www.tantra-erleben.ch

I found out the following. The favicon only shows it for menu entries not created in Nicepage. In the Create Nice Page menu / posts it does not show the icon.

I'm terribly sorry for the delay in replying. The problem may be caused by the different template selected for the pages created with Nicepage. Please open the article for editing and then try to use different templates from the drop-down (Nicepage with header and footer, Theme template.,etc.), one of these options should enable the favicon.
If that does not help, provide an access to the site backend.

Sorry, I have no idea where to set it. Could you kindly describe that to me in more detail? I use the Nicepage program to edit my website. Where exactly do I have to set that? Do I have to set this in the program or in Joomla? Can you send me a picture where I can post it? on the website it shows the favicon in a module post. Any NicePage created menu item will not be shown to Favicon.

I´ve also big problems with the favicon. I changed it in the desktop version and I´ve exported the theme and made an import into Joomla. All articles are to "Nicepage Header and Footer" but I only can see the old favion.

Hi,

Use the Theme header and footer option for the articles. The Nicepage header and footer option is using the settings from the plug-in for that particular page.

I have also written about the favicon topic several times and unfortunately have not received a satisfactory solution.

Yesterday I put a page online where the favicon in the template was uploaded offline, but is not displayed after activation.

I have now selected the "Theme Header and Footer" setting on all pages, but the footer is gone?

Let me explain a bit. The header. footer and favicon are the part of the Theme and you need to edit all those elements in the desktop application and export the new theme. Then set all your articles on the site to use the Theme Template. Then the favicon and header and footer will be the same on all the pages.
When you choose for the article to be using the Nicepage Header and Footer in the settings for the article, the page will be using the Header, Footer and all the other theme settings from the plug-in on the site, but that does not allow to add a favicon.
So please consider designing the complete favicon, header and footer in the desktop application and then export the new Theme on the site. activate it and avoid using the Nicepage header and footer option for the articles.

Hi,

I do not see the favicon link in the code of your site so please double-check that your pages are using the Theme Template and not the Nicepage Header and Footer.
If that does not help, create a private ticket with your Project file and access to the site backend.
