Ask a Question

the current site template i am using is causing alignment issues on the live version / quick preview causing what i have built to not be reflected on the previewed page, is there a way for me to chose a new site template without having to create a new site, rebuild every page and then publish ?

Hi Hazen,

Are ypou working with the WP or Joomla theme? In this case you can export the Theme only, upload it on your site and install it without installing the content. In this case only template will be changed and all the content will remain on your site.

If you mean an HTML project and you wish to use some new page from the library then no, the pages from the ready templates go with it's content and you will need to add your own content in them again.

Maybe you could explain in more details what exact issue do you have and we'll suggest a better solution for that situation.

I am working with the HTML builder currently but in this case would i be able to export it as a wordpress site and make the alterations to the theme from there ?

i can manually center the content in the builder by altering the position on the builder >> preview and fiddle with things before exporting and publishing just a lot of busy work with a site that is likely going to be 60+pages on the low end

Hi Hazen,

So in the end this would be a WordPress site? In this case you can follow your point.

In case it would be a HTML site, you should then change the design of the block manually.

Also there is a Copy Style option and you can copy the style of some new block and apply it to a new one, but that won't change the layout, only the design options like colors and fonts.
