Footer is getting more and more messed up.

Whenever I edit a page (not the footer, but the page), the footer gets more and more strange. When I go to edit the footer to fix it, it's fine. It seems that cells keep duplicating in the footer and piling atop each other.

In my case, there should be one column with Worship info, one with Contact info, and the third with Links. But as you can see, each column has all three. Yet when I go to edit the footer, it's fine and looks normal. What is up here?

Hi Daniel,

I assume that you are using some CMS. Please make sure that you have added three different Position controls into those columns in your footer when creating a theme. Then please check that you have added each widget separately into each footer position in your CMS backend widgets menu.

I'm using Wordpress, and the footer I'm using was a precreated template in Nice page. I just changed the text in each cell.

Just to show again, I've attached two images. The edit-footer image is the actual footer as I have it setup in Colors and Fonts/Footer. The other image is the footer that shows on the bottom of my pages. I have it setup in nicepage that the footer I created in nicepage should be the footer that shows on pages. So I still don't know what's causing this. Any ideas?

So I did find the problem. And yes, it had to do with widgets. I don't how the footer had both widgets with the data AND the nicepage footer block with the data. But I deleted the widgets, and it now shows as expected.

Hello Daniel,

Sorry for the delay.

Yes, duplicated widgets are added to the Primary Widget Area and you will need to delete them to avoid duplication on a live page.
