Ask a Question

Hello, I use Nicepage to create templates for Joomla (4/5). I would like to know how I can create fixed positions in the Joomla template directly in the theme and not in a specific page. Thanks.

Hi,

First of all, could you please clarify where exactly you want to create a position? If you want to apply it to a theme, you can put it in the Header, Footer, and a predesigned template (Blog, Post, etc.). You can also add a sidebar with positions to the Blog and Post Templates.

Hi Paul,
I need to import in Joomla only my custom template.
After I need to use in all page (from Joomla's menu or from CKK's menu) a layout like this:

Sidebar Left - Joomla Content - Sidebar Right

It's possible to set from template this 3 standard positions ?

Thank you.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is impossible to add two sidebars to a template. Alternatively, you can add a sidebar and the needed number of positions. After reinstalling a theme, all these positions will be applied to a website and you can assign modules to them.

Let us know if you need our further help!
