Ask a Question

I wanted to activate my desktop application but I got a popup saying that I did not purchase a desktop version, just the on-line version with hosting. I do not need hosting as I have my own provider. Do I have spend more money in order to activate the desktop version?

Hi Darrell,

We are glad to see you among our clients.

As we see you have paid Nicepage Hosting Business Subscription on December 03, 2019, that will be expired on December 03, 2020. You have purchased on this page: https://nicepage.com/hosting.
And with this subscription, you can use Nicepage Online Editor for creating sites and host them on our servers.

And if you needn't hosting service and want to use Desktop application and CMS plugins (Joomla, WP), then you need to purchase Nicepage license on this page: https://nicepage.com/premium. As you see we provide various Editions with different available premium features. Please review these features and let us know what exactly Edition of license you need. We will cancel your subscription and transfer your payment on license purchase taking into account the difference in money.

Sincerely,
Susanna I.

Hello and to whom it may concern
Looking for help
I have accidentally messed up with my desktop folders by removing them.
Now Despite reinstalling the application I can not get my saved project *.zip to open as NicePage app is still looking for some non-existent directory and gives me no other option.

HELP!

Hi,

Nicepage Desktop application is looking for the project's folder on launch. By default, this is the /Documents/Nicepage folder. This folder can be changed under the Profile >> Preferences. Did you change the projects folder? If not, please make sure that the required /Documents/Nicepage folder exists on the server.
The project's folder contains Nicepage projects. Usually, the folders are named as Site_[numbers]. These are websites displayed on the Desktop app dashboard.
Therefore, to launch the Nicepage application, the projects folder should exist on the drive, and it should contain the websites.

Olivia

Hello @Olivia,
I am interested in buying a NP license but am concerned about a few things on the comparison chart...

1/ "Number of Projects in Desktop App" - does this mean that NP monitors how many projects you have created and restricts you from creating as many as you want? If so what stops you from exporting a site to a folder, then exporting that project, deleting the project, creating another, doing the same as many times as you like... and when you need to make changes, you simply restore the project you exported previously? A pain, but would it work to get unlimited project/sites

2/ Live sites - what are they? (surely not simply sites that are published?!)

3/ "number of online sites" - is that in addition to the desktop sites? Can one be transferred to the other?

4/ "Full design customization" - the information button says what the lesser versions do not have, but for some features does not say exactly what the better version does include.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you.
Mark.

Mark,

We will answer in a separate case, as your questions are not quite related to this case.
