problems with german special characters representation

on my website heilpraxis-beringhoff.de the special character representations are not working in google chrome. the first time the pages are loading its correct and then if i load the same site again all the Ä,Ü,Ö,ß transform into cryptic symbols. you know that problem? what can i do?
with Safari the same.
on firefox its not.

need-help

<meta charset="UTF-8">

yes. i did it. i had to rewrite the functions.php and the nicepage.php ... chatGpt made it possible. but now its solved. dont understand why utf-8 was not included?!
