On the website I am developing I make extensive use of your Block Anchor as means to navigate a long web page with multiple choices on it. Your text menu will only a certain number of entries as no scroll bar becomes available like does with your hamburger option.

Here is in example of your text submenu box. Missing vertical scroll bar and making the box's background transparent selectable.

So do you mean you need a scroll bar in the submenu? If yes, we will add this feature to our wishlist.
As for the transparency, you can set the custom color for the submenu with an opacity of 0%. In this case, the submenu background will be transparent.

There is no transparency option that I can see for background of the submenu box. Please you take a screenshot and show me where I wrong.

how does your search work as it seems to do nothing I am not using product but need it to my menu options.

Our Search Element works only on CMS websites (WordPress, Joomla) as it uses their built-in search functionality. Unfortunately, our site search does not work on static HTML sites, but we have added this feature to our wishlist.
Alternatively, you can implement Google Programmable Search Engine on your website. You can read about it here: https://programmablesearchengine.google.com/about/
