So I not need nicepage plugin ? I can only install the theme without the plugin ?
But I can’t edit the page ?

Yes, the theme does not include the editor, it is just the simple WP theme. If you need to have the content created in Nicepage on your site, then you need to have the plug-in installed. If you need to edit the content created with Nicepage on your site or add a new content with Nicepage, then you also need to have the Nicepage plug-in on your site.

Ok, so I install the theme from the export. And activate it. But there's no "recommended plugin" notice! So how do I then install the plugin and content?

When I add plugin -> upload plugin gehe und mein content zip file wähle .. nimmt er nicht. Keine Rückmeldung.
The note "This theme recommends the plugin: Nicepage" does NOT appear!
How to add it?

PS I'm on mac.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have exported the theme using the Theme and Content and Plugin options included. Then you need to upload the zip file in WP >> Appearance >> Themes >> Add New >> Upload. After the installation of the theme the wizard should also suggest to install the plug-in from the theme.
If the above does not work, create a separate private ticket, attach your exported theme, exported project and provide an access to your site backend so we could check it.

I have one one questions for our Company: If we create a nicepage website and we export it as wordpress project, do the buyer of this project must have the nicepage plug-in? Is not possible once uploaded as wordpress project, to modify the same project only by wordpress without nicepage plug-in? Thank you for your assistance...

The plugin can be installed together with the exported content.
If you are asking if the content can be exported without using the Nicepage plugin at all, the answer is no. The content and design won't be recognized without installing the Nicepage editor on your WordPress website.

You can use the Nicepage plugin as a stand-alone solution on your WordPress website. However, we always recommend keeping a copy of your project in the Nicepage Desktop app or Online Builder as a website project.
