You need a project file, not an export to HTML. Do you have your site exported as a project?
You may have it in your application dashboard or saved in a local folder.

You can import back into the application for further editing only the project format file.
You can edit your HTML files in that case if you do not have the project.

Ok, let's clarify the main points.
You need to add SEO information to your site using the desktop application and the project file for this site. You can add new SEO info into Site Settings >> SEO.
Only project files can be imported into the application.
If you do not have such saved in your PC or as backup or in the application dashboard then it means that your project file for your site is lost.
You can edit your exported to HTML files, manually edit the code, we have no support for that.
You can use your HTML files to recreate the new project with the application, like copy text/images, create new site and add SEO as you need.
