I have poor eyesight... so have difficulty manipulating the sidebars used by the app.. is there any way i can make them very slightly wider??

If you mean the scrollbars, then they will be wider in one of the nearest updates.

For now there is no bigger version of the sidebar. You can consider using the scroll wheel on your mouse or the scroll option on the touchpad.

Hella there no mouse or scroll option on my touchpad... the only thing i can do is rzoom out and click an area without any controls to get focus then use my up/down arrows.
from a productivity point of view this is awful... usability is getting worse...sigh … time to ditch nicepage … its not so nice

I've tested the editor on my phone and I was able to scroll the right and left sidebars by finger just like any webpage by locating the finger anywhere on the element with scroll. Browser scroll works the same in all cases. Are you sure that you cannot scroll the sidebar in this way?

First … I am not using a phone … I use a non-touch laptop with touchpad.
The response to touch is always dealt differently than mouse.. so scroll does not work in the same way with a touchpad
focus is always on the block you are working on... to move the block you <must> position the cursor using the touchpad onto the scrollbars and drag
if you cannot see the scrollbars then you need to guess where they are.
Please refer this usability issue to your developers … the ideal should for the scrollbars to appear when the app senses the cursor is located over the sidebar
