I agree with contact244, it’s hard to work with responsive modes because it’s always stick with the desktop (main) design. This causes problems because you can not design the responsive design in a way you want it to look without destroying the desktop mode or vice verse. It works really bad actually.
I like the suggestion that you should be able to turn off responsive modes if you would like to, but, the main problem here is that you can not create a good desktop site and a good responsive site. You always have to compromise in one or other view. Impossible to get it right!
Responsive designs must be completely free from desktop design and changes (completely changes, all of them, content, pictures, texts etc) should not be affected in each other views, to be able to get the design right in each mode.
Today this doesn’t work and I believe many people struggling with this problem.
