Joomla 4 to Joomla 5

Dear developers,

as Joomla 5 has been released and sometime in the future a migration to Joomla 5 will be necessary, I wonder how this will work with pages currently running on Joomla 4.

In the past, a Joomla 3 Themler template was not compatible with Joomla 4, so there was no way of migrating or converting the template automatically, but instead, we had to rebuild it from scratch.

How is the procedure planned from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5?

Hi Daniel,

Nicepage editor for Joomla 4 is compatible with Joomla 5. Therefore, there should not be any major problems during the upgrade to Joomla 5. But we still recommend to backup the whole website at first.
