Ask a Question

I have created some pages and a template in licensed Nicepage and I want to import this in an new Joomla 5.0.3 installation. The enpty site is working well, but now the contents. I have imported the nicepage extension (succeeded!) and I have published the created contents in several ways (as a page+project, as a page, as a templates in different files) and importing will not succeed. When I want to import data through te Nicepage extension I got a message 'localhost failed chunk' and then followed by a kind of crash. I cannot determine if this is a message from Nicepage, Joomla or the local server. I am using Wampserver.

Hello Jan,

If this is a localhost issue we cannot check and reproduce it from our side in your system.
Please send us some screenshots of your actions or a screen-captured video of your actions.
Have you already checked online the error message you have, usually there is some general fixes can be found. Additionally, you can check the server error logs file.

Let us know.

Sincerely,
Anna.

I understand that you cannot test it on your site. I have checked online the error message and that gives not any explanation. I think the filesize is too big because Joomla says max 8Mb and I am searching where I have to change that in PHP in WAMPP server (horrible to find). I have looked into the server logs and it looks like pointing to that problem. Is there maybe another way to get that pages or site into my Joomla site?

Hello Jan,

I see, no you will need to increase your PHP limits in your php.ini file for such values as:
max_execution_time from120
max_input_time 60
memory_limit 512M
Upload max filesize - 60MB or more if possible 120MB
PHP post max size - should be the same as Upload max

See attached.

Anna.

I have another serious problem and that is how to get the template and specific the header with the menu in my site. I see it in the nicepage environment and I can configure it there, but in my Joomla situation I see nothing as only a logo. But before answering I am gonna look in the help files and supporting files if I can find the answer.
