I am trying to use a login template in a new page. What is the process of choosing a login template (block or page) and including it on my site page?

When I try to add a login block to my page, it forces me to the Login Template and I cannot see how to add that login block to a page! I attach a video to show what I have tried. I am going round in circles.

Please advise.

After downloading the Template page separately, it uses a different CSS file to my site. How do we add that page to the site to include the chosen styles and elements of the Template to marry up with those of the Site?

Hi,

You are trying to add a Loin block on a regular page that you have named Login. The Login Template is a specific template and not a regular page so you need to design it in the Templates area. The application opens you the correct template when you try to add that type of block. So everything is correct, please use the Login Template that is opened by the application. And follow the instructions from the link provided in the post above. Let me know if you need any further help.

I am sorry. I thought we could create a site and export it in just HTML. Are you saying (as according to the link) I must use a WordPress Theme? I am not creating a WordPress site!

I have successfully exported a site to HTML, but I wanted to use the Login block. Are you saying that templates cannot be used in HTML sites, and if so, does that exclude us using the block contained in them?

Hi,

HTML is a markup, so you need some database, and the code to perform the desired functions. Meaning it is not possible with HTML. Sorry!
