Good day. I have a Nicepage website built on a Joomla 3 - I built it in Joomla, not using the Desktop app. I would like to know if there is any way to export the entire site and import it into a new Joomla 5 install? I really don't want to have to rebuild the entire site as it took weeks to get right.

How best can I do this?

Hi Ross,

If you need to transfer the template created with Nicepage you will need a project file as Joomla 3 and 5 versions do have different format and you will need to export the theme in the proper format once again.

Thanks. I have tried to use those tools before and it seldom works, particularly when I have used Nicepage to create the template.

Hi Ross,

If there is no project file from Nicepage with the whole site content and design you need to use Joomla migration tools to transfer your site content from one site to another. And then do not forget to install Nicepage plug-in for the correct Joomla version.
