Ask a Question

Hello!

I simply wish to understand if the Content area width parameters that are - for the case: 1140 for desktops, 940 for laptops, 720 for tablets, 540 for landscape phones and 340 for portrait phones - are they supposed to name pixels?

So 1140 for a desktop when a quite usual resolution is 1080 px or higher?
340 for a portrait phone when a medium class phone can easily go up to 1080 px as well?

If this setting is for pixels, what values would you suggest for devices currently on the market?

The reason why I am asking is that my project look perfect on a desktop, but quite awkward on my portrait phone.

Please respond asasp.,

Cheers,

Hello Roland,

Yes, in the Nicepage editor, there are only pixels that are used for setting the screen width (without height).
The best practice would be to use the default content area width, because each responsive mode has its breakpoint, and it cannot be edited. These breakpoints are used for switching responsive modes.

You can read more about it here: https://nicepage.com/doc/299189/content-area-width

Responsive breakpoints in Nicepage:

The phone portrait is lower than 575px
The phone landscape is from 575px to 767px
The tablet is from 768px to 991px
The laptop is from 992px to 1199px
The desktop view is higner than 1200px
...................................................
Sincerely,
Anna.
