Dear developers,

if you work with the Desktop App for Nicepage, you have the possibility to add subfolders to the pages at the left menue. As soon as the design has been imported into Joomla, these subfolders are gone. This is pretty annyoing if you have a lot of pages. You simply lose the possibility to sort them. Could this be readded so folders are available in Joomla again?

Hi Daniel,

Once you import the Nicepage page in Joomla it is converted to the standard Joomla Article with the Nicepage editor. Pages are saved in the database. Therefore it is not possible to use subfolders for them. Moreover, page URLs are controlled by Joomla. We cannot add something which looks like a subfolder to the page URL. The desktop application saves the pages similar to the HTML website where there is an HTML page file located in the folder. Joomla uses a different mechanism. There are no folders for content.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I fully understand, that this doesn't improve the page URLS, but it would be a lot easier to maintain pages in Nicepage if you have a option to sort them. What about Nicepage using the categories or the menue structure to display the items in the Nicepage editor?

The problem is: Imagine having a very large site including news areas or a blog. You would have hundreds of Nicepage pages in one single pane.

Hi Daniel,

The Folder is a physical folder on a disc. We cannot use such folders for the fields in database tables. Therefore, it is logically and technically impossible to use folders for this. You're asking for a different type of managing pages which is not implemented. We can only add your request to our wish list.

I understand, then this can be considered as a wishlist or feature request. Some kind of organizing all the pages in NicePage would help a lot to make the list not endless.
