Ask a Question

Dear developers,

I have created a project in Nicepage Desktop and after finishing it, I exported it to Joomla 4. In Joomla 4 I made various adjustments (as it was not depending on the location where I am using the Desktop app). Now I would like to import the Joomla 4 state to Nicepage Desktop again to work on it.

When exporting it to Joomla 4, I also exported the project file by the way.

How can I do that?

Best regards,
Dan

Hi Daniel,

There is no possibility to export the project from the plug-in as it actually edits the content only and not the theme.

So if I want to make adjustments to the team, I simply need to do this on the Desktop app and then export/import this to Joomla, right?

What does including the project actually help for then?

Hi Daniel,

If you want to make some changes in the Theme, yes, it should be done in the project in the desktop application. The project is included in the export so you do not miss it next time you want to edit the theme for this site in case you have deleted the project in your desktop application dashboard, just as a backup.

I wonder, if I have installed the theme, where is the project file stored online?

Hi,

It is not uploaded to Joomla as it is not needed on the server. This is a backup file for you so you can import it back to the Nicepage Desktop.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
