Ask a Question

i use the online plugin for joomla which works fine.
because i need a menue i selected the template with "header and footer", so i have a joomla header and menu.
as you may see on the screenshots of the resulting page, it has additional content like font size selector, search box, the menue and a big row "joomla Open Source Content Management".
- how can i edit this big header (and footer)
- the menue failed, because sub pages are not shown in the menue (or at a wrong place). how to repair this menue module?

thanks
andy

Hi,

So you haven't created the Nicepage theme in th desktop application and you get the default Joomla theme that is set in you Joomla settings. That theme has some module positions and looks like the above-mentioned modules (font size selector, search box, etc.) are placed in those module positions. So navigate to the Extensions >> Module Manager and remove those modules if you do not want them to show.

Or you can design the theme with the header and footer in the desktop application, export the theme and use that header and footer on your site.

Regarding the menu items, probably the issue is in the menu module that has the subitems disabled in the module options.
