Ask a Question

Dear Nicepage Support Team,

I am encountering an issue when trying to add a shortcode to a form created with your website builder. The shortcode is intended to display a toggle (checkbox), but unfortunately, the element is rendering outside of the form in the page's source code. I would like to know the correct method for inserting a shortcode into a form within your platform.

Could you please guide me on the specific steps or settings within Nicepage that need to be carried out for the shortcode to function properly inside a form? Are there any particular instructions or recommendations that I should follow?

Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,
Elias

I wrote the shortcode code for a checkbox and inserted it onto the page, but it's always outside of the form.

Hello Elias,

Thanks for reaching out to us

In Nicepage, adding shortcodes to forms slightly differs from traditional WordPress platforms. Nicepage primarily operates on its own builder and doesn't directly support WordPress shortcodes within forms.

If you use Nicepage in conjunction with a WordPress website, the typical WordPress shortcode functionality might not work seamlessly within the Nicepage editor for forms.

You might need to use Nicepage's built-in features and elements for forms and checkboxes to achieve similar functionality. If you're trying to implement a specific toggle or checkbox element, you can explore Nicepage's form elements or design custom styles using the available options in the editor.

Please provide more details.

Feel free to share additional details or ask further questions.

Sincerely,
Ahmad.
