Ask a Question

When I upload my images, they appear fine in the uploader and in my file manager. However when I insert into the cell the image is rotated and I am not able to figure out how to rotate the image back to normal.

Thanks

Colin,

The case is in development. However, the dev team is busy with the prioritized issues. For now, you can use MS Paint for simple rotations.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry, but I would have thought this is a prioritized issue, for me the program is unusable in this state, perhaps when you fix the issue you will extent the licence !

Perhaps a bit late, but when facing the same issues as mentioned previously, saving in Paint 3D as a 2D image (jpeg) fixed the issue for me where rotating and saving didn't.

You can also use the default MS Paint for 90-180-270 degree rotations.

I have the same problem. Even after rotating them using image software, they still show incorrectly

problem with Nicepage not reading the xml in the picture

Hi,

If the image has the orientation you want in Paint and in Xara Designer X pro, save it as a new file (save as) and add it into the Nicepage Editor.

I'm sorry but this is simply not true. I just had a picture that has the right orientation in 5 different software programs, but still shows a 90° image. I am fed up with this, I have spent half of my time trying tro figure out how to add a BASIC SIMPLE image to a website. It's faster building a HTML site with image than using this tool. Yes I am very irritated that I have spend my money on a tool that can't rotate images. This should never be something you should think about. I had to go through hundres of pictures, half of them were randomly 90° oriented. Try it and you'll never want to use your own tool ever again.

this is because Nicepage does not read the xml (exif) contained in the picture
