Hi Luis,
Thanks for adding to my question - I apologize for not knowing if NicePage now has a better solution. I have not truly tested anyones solution either as - this is not how I hope to work with video - however understand what to do - my situation is a little different.
I have videos on my computer, not posted on any site - companies / clients really don't want to work that way due to copywriter protection of their intellectual properties. And these companies, have the coin to house and pay for streaming. So - I just want to drag drop Video onto a design page -- while a client is next to me and see how things will look.
WEBYDO, WEBFLOW, BOOTSTRAP STUDIO 4, SPARKLE, BLOCs and MOBIRISE as well as many other applications, all allow this workflow to happen, so I can not see why a common process would not be added to NicePage. What a few of these mentioned apps may not do, is package the video when needed to post... again not the question nor what I expect.
I have been told, to be careful with video sizes. I been told that pre-posting on Youtube or the likes was a better method due to the limits of video sizes and settings and all that for streaming reasons. Yes, yes all understandable however the fact that NicePage can not perform a common function which competing APPLICATION can is not good for NicePage. I am fully aware of the benefits and the process of compressing MP4 video for streaming. I am capable of posting video on Youtube etc when the project is completed - but to work that way is not typical. In a professional environment working with clients, this work flow in NicePages is as backwards as using custom Fonts. And to add to that notion - so is the macOS version. The menus are not typical MAC style - the lack of using proper MAC drop down menus could make many buyers on the MAC platform steer away for the app. These are why I mention the things I have... in hopes it could improve NicePage.
