Hi,
I modified the default post page template within the desktop application. Then I published (exported) in a zip file. Finally I imported the zip file into my online site.
Everything works fine but the post page: it still uses the template of the active theme (2023) used before the installation of the nicepage plugin, which remains in the active state even after the installation of NP.
Posts are created in WP and I'm only offered the option "predefined template" or the ones made with the previous theme.
I' certainly doing something wrong, but all my temptative have been fruitless.
Can you help?

Hello Emilio,

Post pages use your theme Post template. To change the post template layout you need to edit the template with your desktop, export it as a theme only and import it into WordPress via Appearance> upload a new theme.
After the new theme is set as active, your posts will use the new design - https://nicepage.com/doc/67768/update-wordpress-theme-from-app
According to your description, you had exported content, Pages, and Editor plugin and installed via the plugin import option, the active theme remained unchanged, is it correct?

many thanks, it worked.
I really missed that I had to import the theme separately and not altogether with content.

You can export the theme altogether with content but this file should be imported via Appearance> new theme upload to activate the theme at once - https://nicepage.com/doc/66707/install-wordpress-theme-and-pages
