Creating tables

it's not "shameful", there is a certain sized team and they have their priorities. When I've made charts like that in the past I use photoshop and import the image... I've not seen drag drop software that can do what you're asking for.

What do you say to this problem?

It is shameful not to have a single solution after such a long time.

I am an IT administrator and a digital and print media designer myself. It's not that difficult to write code that includes this, especially not after such a long time.

I have found a solution for myself, albeit a very unattractive one. But all the others who have been waiting for 5 years, maybe not.

Click on the column >> click on the + sign on the top left corner >> Image >> choose the image.

THIS is not helpful. Having the same issue.
Need to add a picture in ONE table cell, not at the whole table background. There's no possibility and so the responsive site won't work correctly. The only thing I can add is an Icon or a button. But no image!!!

It's 5 years ago someone asked to fix this problem. Cannot understand it lasts 5 years and still isn't done. May of us do need a functional Table. No merging rows oder columns possible. No adding images in a cell of a table since 5 long years. That really is shameful.
What do you say to this problem?

Hi, If you add the table function in the future, this would encourage me to use your products going forward. Using HTML for a client is not possible so negates the functionality of wordpress and nicepage. Please add this function asap.

I created a custom HTML table and inserted and the results sucked. The cellspacing and padspacing do not work, the text coloring is crappy and WE NEED A TABLE FUNCTION.

disabling nicepage so that we can use Gutenberg would be nice also. I PROMISE that I won't stop using nicepage, but this is a nice tool to incorporate.

If you make html table, the problem is for my client, they cant modify easely...

So i use JSN Page Builder 3 from Joomlashine.com
You can make bootsrap table as you want...

Your voice is counted, if you need tables now, you can use the custom HTML code for the table and insert it in the HTML control. I'm sure that you can find some table generator that will produce the ready HTML for the table to be used on the page.

Unfortunately there is still no control for the table. This option is not so highly requested by our users. But it is in our wishlist.

In the meantime, Grid control does not support creating such tables. This is more a layout control. Therefore, the only way to add such table is HTML control where you can any HTML you want.
But our developers are working on the new CSS GRID/TABL feature which will allow making such tables in the future.

Looks like you attached the wrong screenshot. I do not see any table on it.
The Text control itself does not have color fill settings. But you can put it inside Container control where you can add fill color.
