Update Theme on WP

I keep getting this annoying message "The active theme has a version lower than the plugin version. Please update the theme too." and I have no idea what to do now since all my work is on Nicepage on WP directly ...

And please don't point me to : https://nicepage.com/doc/67768/export-and-update-wp-theme-from-app ... This is irrelevant and you keep directing people to it in every thread on the subject, we need real help with this ...

The more I get into Nicepage the more I am finding out it is so 1950 compared to new website builders that are truly an extension of WP ... Many people start building their websites on their local computers but once the website is uploaded to WP work then moves to WP and you start editing on WP... Unfortunately there is a disconnect between Nicepage on WP and Nicepage on your local computer so whatever you do on one isn't automatically updated on the other ... I keep getting this annoying message "The active theme has a version lower than the plugin version. Please update the theme too." and I have no idea what to do now since all my work is on Nicepage on WP directly ... So, what we should advise the dev? Do not show the message if you close it or add a checkbox about not asking you anymore?

No, figure out how to resolve the issue, any updates in Nicepage app on WP should automatically updte on desktop app, if you can't do that then you need to allow us to update the theme directly in WP

I agree with this post 100%. Thank you zazasafwan.

I have projects that I have built completely in WP. There is no NP desktop app project or files that are related to it. So resolving this theme updating issue should be a high priority.

zazasafwan - What I do as a work-around, and you may already be doing this as well, is export the header and footer blocks from the WP plugin. Create a new project in the NP desktop app. Import the header and footer then save the project. Export the theme and import to WP per Nicepage's documentation. It's still a pain, but it gets the job done.

Thank you Nicepage Team for addressing this as soon as possible.
