So SEOBILITY is the problem. Thanks for your reply. I didn't notice that. There are still websites that make apple touch icons and create the needed xml files.

Googling a bit it looks like using special Apple touch-icns was deprecated several years ago. In any case if you want it to be added into your site please add some code like this in the Site Settings >> HTML >> Additional HTML:

<link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="/example.png">
