Chris, I'm just another Nicepage user, and as you've already been told, Nicepage is designed to be used EITHER to create static HTML sites, OR to create the themes that you can use with CMS's such as WordPress or Joomla.
Any kind of interactive function that requires STORAGE requires a database and PHP (or other server-side language). If you're interested in creating forums and don't want to use WordPress plugins (I don't blame you), you should check out some other stand-alone forum building programs. Depending on the hosting company you use, you should be able to find forum software through Softaculous or Fantastico installers, and then think about how you could use Nicepage as a "front end" to the PHP functionality of the forum software.
Well it should provide dynamic sites not just blog pages because it's labelled as a website builder and sa builder using none dynamic pages isn't a website builder it's actually blog builder so shouldn't be labelled anything else simple as that. If it were to be sucessfull ever then it's going to need to do more than changing texts and adding grid layout and little itty bitty updates like that as nobody is benefitting from said updates like those.
But yeah adding dynamic forum production to it would really improve it as qwould adding options for book building it doesn't have to be for that initially to improve upon the product that isn't really changing with the current updates it gets it's pretty much always the same the only recent larger change was adding e-commerce but it's been done in a generic and uninteresting way.
The way of lazy papypal and stripe which nobody uses stripe in a majority vote they'd say they use something alternate to stripe it's a bad option it's an option but not a heavily adopted one papyal is but where's the crypto and the other mainstream options to buy or sell with so according to nicepage the entire world will have stripe either and or Paypal then? No they won't so where's the rest that's missing?
Your not selling the product very well by just updating fonts and grids i tell you that now, you need to go big or go broke because it will go broke if they don't and that's going to be removing for one this need to be logged in to iuse your purchase it's a stupid rule and a nasty horrible way of making people loose everything if the company goes bust it should never be the case that your needing to log in to an account to authorise something you've paid £200 for should it unless you can absolutely guarentee use of the software after the closure of the servers which won't happen if it authoriuses every boot because the server won't authorise when it's gone.
The other issue is people are being told they have file size limitations on a paid software there is simply one reason for that laziness of development all they did was choose to bind the offline tool and the online tool together on the same server as a cost cutting measure but in doing so they actually took features off the paid customers like unlimited file sizes that never existed and it is due to binding with the same server because they have to do that for free customers to prevent them getting features for free but why make it limited in any way shape or form for any paying customer it's actually cruel it's giving them it then taking it off them.
They've done the same with the option for adding music why haven't they still not allowed us to add music files as menu music on a site they'll argue size is the issue which is total utter nonesense my site is 870mb and loads fast so it's mumbo jumbo preeching that it's again not wanting to lift a finger but they should.
Your obviously defending them but I don't mean the builder isn't great in many ways it really is special and a breeze to use but removing features and size limitations for pro customers that's got to go along with your signing in to a server to use it it's an offline builder not an online builder we;l it is actually your not fully offline until the sever signing on boot up is removed so that's a lie it's actually deceptive practice and against sales regs to say it if it's not true.
