"Wide" function disappears after clicking

I wanted to see how my site should look with the wide function. Earlier this function worked, but now the only effect I see is that the Wide-field is disappearing and that I cannot get the field back. And ..... the site is still the same (not wide)!
The screenshot of section 2 and 3 shows no Wide field anymore (disappeared after use), in section 4 it is still there, because I did not use the field.
I saw more people have trouble with this field.

Today I saw that the "Wide" function is back, but .... for some blocks there is no "wide" button still. See attached screenshot.
And the "Attach files: button of this post does work now and then. Only sensible on some spots.

Hi Ben,

This option is available when there is a Grid inside this Block. In other cases this option is hidden. This is behavior by default.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi Olivia,

there was definitely a grid inside this block, because it was a standard gallery block. But, earlier I suppose, I clicked here the wide button and that did not work then and the wide button disappeared at that moment.

yes I noticed the fix. Thanks.
But .... now I already reported an other issue: the page-background function does not work well after the youngest update.
Maybe you can look into that.
