Yes, the list of pages should also reflect the site structure, and it does not seem to be present.
The option is not present and it can be confusing.

Is there any way to arrange pages in site structure order? I don't want a-z or date created.

This is the next thing Nicepage has put together.

It used to be possible to manually move the names to visually arrange the pages in order.

But Nicepage has done away with this and now you can arrange them by name or creation date.

It really annoys me too.

How many votes do you need to cast to fix this feature? 1000? 2000?

Sorting pages is a UI feature and there is always a filter by name or date. What sorting way is in question?

I am not the only one asking...

I would like to be able to manually set page icons, just like I have a menu layout. That is, first the Company page, Dadant, Dadant 1/2, Wielkopolski, etc. It's about the visual layout of the pages. At the moment, the page layout does not present the menu layout. And I would like it to be.
You have already developed a mechanism for changing the order of elements. Changing the order of the block layout on the page works similarly, on the left side in the blocks panel.
I wrote a few years ago about adding this option to the page panel.
