Wordpress/Joomla export to Desktop

Ask a Question

I can't find an export function in the Wordpress Plugin.
I think the same is in Joomla

It was started on Desktop App, then imported into Wordpress.
Then it was further developed in Wordpress.

I now urgently need the opportunity to create an export from there again.
Would have to import the current status again into the desktop version and also need a backup.

How can i export Theme/Content/Project from Online Version (CMS) to Desktop Version ?

I'm afraid... that this is missing in Nicepage... that was possible with Themler.

btw:
Incidentally, I don't think it's good that as soon as a page has been created or edited with Nicepage, you can no longer make changes directly with Wordpress.

With Themler you could then make changes with the internal CMS editor.
Maybe you can make this possible again!?
Yes, I know - of course it doesn't really make sense to have 2 editors, but that was partly necessary and I miss that now.

Hello Alex,

There is no such option to export pages with an editor plugin. You can export blocks and further import them into a project with desktop application.
Please specify what exact changes for a Nicepage page previously imported from desktop application are not possible to make directly with Wordpress plugin.

Please integrate the possibility of also integrating the export function in the CMS plugins. That wasn't a problem with Themler either.
Of course it's a different System, but don't think it's a Problem to implementation for your Developers.

I've now tried it manually.
So simply pack the template from the theme directory /wp-content/themes/ into a .zip and import it back into the desktop version as "Project".

That worked, but unfortunately it is the same old status as when importing and none of the new changes are available.
So it's not working as expected...
unfortunately it doesn't save progress in the template files...

Can you please integrate that, as well as with the desktop version?
I need a solution so that the complete Theme/Content/Project can be exported as well!

Just the same export function as desktop to CMS plugin
But now from the CMS plugin to the desktop version

Exporting individual blocks doesn't make sense, can't do that per page/block - if the entire project/theme is to be exported.
So all blocks or changes (also Colors/Fonts and more) that were created with CMS Plugin after the import from Desktop Version.

Thanks......

Hello Alex,

CMS and desktop application are built with different programming languages and there is only one way to export files, not project, that would be compatible with CMS.
We have this option to export pages from the plugin editor in our wishlist already.

Thank you for your vote.

It's your words that this is on the wish list.
Where is this whistlist?
I know we can vote, but there is no information on what will be passed to development.
