I really need to be able to add video that is stored on the web page.

We cannot store videos in the site folder. But you can load the video on some hosting and use the direct link on your site. Then there will be no related videos from YouTube.

Ok I have a short video stored in dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/kjmtqfrkrxh6hqh/ODB%20Crosses.mp4?dl=0
I selected a video background for a grid element and put the above url in the place where the you tube link would go. I tried to preview and nothing happened.

What am i doing wrong?

I found the possible solution here:

You need to add ?raw=1 parameter instead of ?dl= at the end of the video URL. This may help.
