Ask a Question

Hi.

Almost all Templates with that you demonstrate Nicepage have Onepage design.

Can Nicepage do more that only one page?

Can you share some project that have few different pages based on Joomla CMS with some extentions and with multilanguage support.

For example: Home (with slideshow and sections), Services (some blocks), Gallery (gallery extention), Contacts (contact form extention).

Additionaly please show some variant and styles for desktop and mobile menu.

Thank you.

Vitaliy,

You can do multipage websites. Our examples are to demonstrate the design features; therefore, we do not do more pages.

What you can do:

1) Use a template
2) Duplicate the Home page
3) In the duplicated page, remove all blocks that are not useable and add a new block that you want to have.

Thank you!

Hi.

Thank you for answer.

Is here presets? For example: I create layout and want to use it on all pages except Home and Contacts. Can I assign created layout to this pages and edit it later?

What about other questions:

  1. Native Multilanguage support?
  2. Variants and styles for desktop and mobile menu?

Hi Vitaliy,

There is no preset but it can be easily created by adding the additional pages and inserting the new blocks of the desired type. Check this one attached, created in minutes.
The theme has the template (Blog and Post) and content (all the other Pages). You cannot assign templates manually but they are assigned automatically to all the pages that are Blog and Post types. All the other pages you add in Nicepage are content and not templates, you cannot assign them, just use them as the individual pages.

Native Multilanguage support?

There is no such option, but it is in the wishlist.

Variants and styles for desktop and mobile menu?

You add the menu in the desktop view and choose the desired style then you can switch to the responsive views and style the responsive view as you wish.

Hi.

I had tried use Nicepage few times in 2018 and everytime something stop me. I had tried use Nicepage with Themler with no luck... Nicepage template there shown wrong with all of 3 options in Article. So I decide to use Nicepage standalone and without CMS, only for very simple things. But it don't have some options: no multilanguage support and poor menu styles. Will be waitng another one year, maybe Nicepage will be more powerful then :)

Hi Vitaliy,

Thank you for your comments.
Our goal is not to create one more Themler. Our goal is to create a simple and easy to use tool which does not have so many options as Themler, but creates modern designs and works faster.
Therefore we do not plan to support the same menu options as Themler. But if you need some specific setting, we can add it to our wish list.

We can help you with using Nicepage with Themler if you describe the problems you encountered in more details in a new private topic with screenshots.

I know it and understand. What is Nicepage, for what and for whom - complietly clear. And I considering to use Nicepage exatly for this, for simple and fast projects. But... Menu styling and multilanguage support is very important. You can create some menu styles presets for easy to use. I think that many users start Nicepage from creating menu as this is first section (block)... and they just stop using Nicepage on this first step as there no options and presets. Same with multilanguage aspect. So just think about this :)

Moreover... if Nicepage "for simple and fast projects" then I think that there no need CMS inegration.
If we can add pages in Nicepage and use fast HTML instead a MySQL with CMS, then what is the reason to use CMS?
CMS may be useful for adding forms, slideshow, map and other plugins... but all of this already inside Nicepage.

All the way before I had tried to use Nicepage with CMS and everytime I was expecting something powerful as Themler... as CMS itself implies powerful projects. So do you realy need to waste resources for CMS support?

For simple projects Nicepage can do all the same as CMS but without CMS all of this will be work much more faster.

Maybe Nicepage can be a Flat-file CMS in feature?

Only multilanguage support and menu styles is serious leak for now...

In my opinion nicepage is the definitive answer that we all expected, even if it has to be improved in some things.

I use it with joomla, it doesn't have all the themler options, but unlike themler you can make gorgeous sites in 2 seconds.

After a long use with themler I completely switched to nicepage

I remind you that for those who want more options it is possible to use themler and nicepage together ...
I did it very easily.
The only flaw is that the system is not as light as if you are using it alone.
for this reason I want to keep them separate, but on some jobs I have integrated them.

Nicepage from very fast html sites, so it is very easy to do a landing page, but I always use it with joomla, and with joomla it is always necessary to have jch optimize, with or without nicepage.
It gives me the same results as html.

The thing in which I find it most useful, is to be able to give the customer the possibility to make beautiful pages on his own, the site clients are happy, being nicepage a very intuitive page builder.
the other joomla page builders are bad in comparison.

The only advice I can give is:

1- it is good to keep it as intuitive as possible, but some key features, like typography, some extra headers, more menu options, and modules should be enhanced

2 - add as many controls as possible, like tabs carousel......

I would recommend nicepage to everyone, I am really satisfied with my unlimited license, and I look forward to the next updates

Hi Giumarr and thank you for reply,

Sure, JCH + JotCache + CDN combo can speed up website. But server response with JCH in some case will be longer for obvious reasons. Anyway HTML will be faster and this will be more noticeable when server far away and each request will be with ping delay :)

Can you share some of your projects with Nicepage and Joomla?
You use Joomla for Nicepage only because Nicpege don't have some controls?

BTW will be great if Nicepage will have something like Shortcode Ultimate :)

I agree with you vitality, there is nothing better than html in speed.

If I have to make a landing page I use the desktop version and export to html

For my clients who want to be able to write alone on the sites, I use the desktop version, I create some pages and the template, then I export for joomla and then I import and I continue on the joomla plugin to make changes

The most useful thing for nicepage, for me, is for my clients who want to modify their own site by themselves, so with my ultimate license I activate a client license

here 2 projects are joomla

A simpler one https://split.to/edhEfyw
A more complex one with many extensions http://split.to/Xvri18K/

I use only JCH Optimize https://www.jch-optimize.net/subscribe/levels.html#joomla there are no other extensions that I use for the cache and the speed.

these sites have been modified by my lients o I don't know now if they have a bit of speed, they tend to upload photos as they like

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I use only JCH Optimize

I can recomend to try also JotCache - this is free powerful extention for advanced cache wich also compatible with JCH (there is option inside JotCache plugin wich allow to work better with JCH integration).

Hi,

Thanks for all your feedback and input. We appreciate your interest in Nicepage. And we'll consider all your suggestions. But we will also keep on producing themes for the supported CMSs as that is also highly demanded among our users. That is because not all the functionality that is sometimes needed can be implemented in the plain HTML and moreover it seems that we do not need to implement them again and again if they already exist as the free plug-ins for the CMSs, they are usually nice, easy to use, free and there are plenty of the extensions that you can choose from while we cannot create such variety of the controls for Nicepage. So if you need some special functionality and so on, you can use CMS with the plug-ins, for those who do not need that and require the simple landing page, you can use the HTML export in Nicepage with no need to use the heavy platforms.

I agree perfectly with you.
Having ready-made themes is fundamental, I haven't talked about this functionality but I consider it the most important.

The latest interface changes you have made are very useful for doing well!

Even on plugin I think like you

For example in joomla I see that all the extensions that have shortcodes or codes with braces work wll

{ ------- }

like those of www.regularlabs.com, or jsn unifom, simple image gallery pro ecc eccc

in fact it makes no sense to implement what we do with plugins.

As controls, I refer to those that are strictly related to the text, as css tabs for example.

My priorities are these, if you can report them to the developers.

1 - A MORE ADVANCED TYPOGRAPHY SECTION.
THEY MISS THE FORM AND THAT ARE NEED A LOT IN A CSM, AND ALSO FOR THINGS AS LISTED, NUMBERED LISTS

2 - THE ANIMATIONS ALSO FOR THE SECTIONS, AND WHERE THEY MISS, FOR EXAMPLE MENU AND BACKGROUND
