Master / repeating blocks

Ask a Question

Is there a way to use same block just by inserting its ID or some number.. same text, same images, same layout... something like master page.. layer... or just repeat block from the source/master page

Example
I have block1, block2.
On page page1, page2, page3...page20 I use block1, and on page21, page22,...page50 I use block2

Now, I just want to change one small text on block1 or block2... imagine doing this on all pages every time...

By using repeat source block or master block... this would be in just few clicks.
Import and export has issues, duplicating media files....

Thank you.

Hi, Nemanja,

You can add desired blocks to Library and use them on other pages and sites. Please check this article for getting more information: https://nicepage.com/doc/158746/how-to-add-blocks-to-my-library

Please let us know if it suits your needs or not.

Yes but is not linked... if I need any change, I would have to repeat step of importing block everywhere...
It has to be linked.. so if I change something in my block library, it should be changed everywhere where block is added.

Hi, Nemanja,

Unfortunately, this feature is not presented in Nicepage. We will add it to our wishlist. We hope that it will be implemented one day.

So far, you can only export and import blocks, and add them to Library.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

It is increasingly common with my clients, and in general, who want to use the same design and content, that is, the same block on several pages. For example, the typical "Download our APP" block is wanted on several pages.

Using the libraries for the blocks is OK but what we really need is that it be a link to the same block and if we change the content of it, it will change automatically in all the other instances of it.

Right now, and this is a real example, I am making a "FAQ" block that will appear on no less than 4 pages of my client's website. I suppose from time to time my client will want to edit the questions and answers.

So do I really have to do it 4 times every time I have to make a change?

Hi, Piero,

Unfortunately, we have not presented this feature yet, but we hope that it will be implemented in the future. Alternatively, instead of manual editing, you can copy the Element and paste it on another page.

Let us know if you need our further help!
