Submenu can not keep the border

The sub menu box lacks to possibility to edit vertical position from menu bar, width and height. The only way - as I see it - is to add a border. Problem is, that after previewing. the border disappears. Tried it several times, same result.

Please describe the issue step-by-step and with some screenshots. What we need to do to reproduce it. I have failed to see the missing Sub Menu >> Border after the preview.
