Ask a Question

Hello,

i use the cookie function which is provided by nicepage.

In fact the cookie alert appears (such as the startpage),
but the content of the page is loaded before the cookie tip
will be accepted. On the startpage there is an implementation
of Google Maps ... so Google Maps loaded before the
cookie tip is accepted. This is not correct and fulfill the
requirements of the GDPR (Austria, ...)

How can i achieve that the content / Google Maps is loaded
after accepting the cookie tip.

Thanks a lot.

With best regards
MS

Hi Markus,

We cannot make the content load only after cookies message is accepted. But cookies are saved only after you accept them.
You can try to search for some third-party solutions that could postpone loading before the Accept button is pressed.

hi hella,
is there meanwhile the possibility to load the content after accepting the cookie tip?
also in the cookie tip there should be the option to deny or change some cookie settings.
(such as essential, marketing, ...) in eu (germany, austria, ...) this is necessary to fulfill
the requirements of the gpdr / dsgvo. how can i resolve this in nicepage?

another question:
is it possible to add more than one google tag manager id in the site-options?
or can i add some further code in the "additional head html" box, which works for the whole site?

thanks a lot.

Hi Markus,

There is no option to tweak the Cookeis settings as you have described, but we'll consider your suggestion. For now you can consider using some third-party cookies modules.

As for the second Google tag, you can use the full integration code and add it under the Site Settings >> HTML >> Additional HTML tab.

hi hella,
hope my suggestion will be implemented soon, because there are many other users in eu,
which follow the same interests. in eu other regulations counts and we have to implement
this on the websites. (dsgvo / gpdr)

i use nicepage with joomla ... can you list me some free or low priced third-party cookie modules,
which compy the desired requirements?

ok.. if i add the code under site settings -> html -> additional html --- so the code is added on
each site of the website (project)?

thanks a lot!
