Ask a Question

Hi!

If I have created a page with Nicepage and then upload it (Joomla), the page title of the browser does not show the page title, only numbers. Of course I can change that manually in Joomla, but is there perhaps a way to set Nicepage so that the page title is in the browser address, i.e. instead of www.music.com/menu1-item2 then ww.music.com/live

Thanks for the help!

Hi, Klaus,

Thanks for being our customer!

I suppose that you mean URLs. Indeed, Joomla generates links in this way. You can only change them manually in Joomla or go to System ==> Global Configuration ==> SEO Settings and enable Search Engine Friendly URLs. After that, URLs should be changed automatically.

Please note that Nicepage itself does not generate URLs. Anyway, let us know if you need our further help!

Small supplement. The problem with Nicepage is that the menu alias is not named with the page title but numerically and that would be great if you could change that!

Unfortunately ==> Global Configuration ==> SEO Settings and Enable Search Engine Friendly URLs doesn't work. If this is activated, joomla outputs the alias mentioned, if the function is deactivated, the address is longer and more abstract. i have to change the alias manually in every menu item after every update. but that is impractical!

Nicepage does not generate Joomla menu aliases. It only provides menus themselves, and the names of menu items. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything with that as it is the default Joomla behavior. You can only change menu item aliases manually and enable search engine-friendly URLs so Joomla could display such aliases.
