Hi John,

What exact links you are talking about? If you want to remove all references to Nicepage in your theme, you can use the White Label option to create the theme without nicepage labels. White Label option is available in the Ultimate edition:

Hi.
Thanks for the quick response... no, its not really white label that I'm looking for.

It seems to be when you create a new page, from an existing theme, links for buttons and/or icon/logos, seem to go to niceapp.com, rather than the site I'm working on.

If i'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Currently, I have to search thru each icon, button, etc to make sure its linking to my/real site, and doesn't have a default value going to nicepage.com

Is that any clearer?

Hi John,

The dummy buttons from the ready themes may be linked to nicepage.com. When you add a dummy theme it is essential that you will edit each button and icon to link to your pages so they are using dummy links initially.
There is no way to scan and point to all these links, you need to change them in the editor.

Well, I don't know about "there's no way to scan and point to all these links".

I'm a programmer for 30 years; you've got a great team there.

It IS very possible to do.

Each page/theme, you know where ALL the links are, you put them there.
You let people select and move elements, you know what the on-click events do, go to page, go to website, etc.

Anything that's setup to "go to website" of nicepage.com .... be able to either change to a new domain, or at the very least highlight in a report so the person using your program doesn't accidentally publish something with bad links.

It is EASY for a program to read thru all these elements and find them.
It is VERY HARD for a person to do this.

Your users would very much appreciate it.

Any update on this wish-list item?
Its pretty much been a year.

And technically speaking, its really not a hard-to-do item.

John,

Unfortunately, it is still on a wish list, as more voted features are to be implemented still. Thank you for your patience!

Is there any built-in way to automatically find, and/or replace all instances of nicepage.com within a page/template, or site?

We, as developers, shouldn't have to go on a search and destroy mission trying to eliminate all the default links placed in templates.

Definetely, a FIND/REPLACE is needed. When you provide us with the DUPLICATE function for pages, blocks, whole sites, it is not far from that. Once a site is duplicate, there is obviously a need to replace the old "XXX" with a new "YYY". Can you imagine doing that by hand?

Please put this on a high priority
Thanks
