Form submit taking very long

I've built a site and contact form and I use the "Send email with PHP Script" option.

While it works, it takes a long time to process after clicking the "submit" button. It takes about 30 seconds to redirect to my Thank You page and send the email. What's happening is that users believe they're stuck, and end up clicking the submit button multiple times and sending multiple emails.

It takes about the same time to receive results from the /scripts/form-diagnostics.php page too (30 sec).

I'm using ReCaptcha and GoDaddy hosting.

Any ideas?

Hello,

According to your description, the server needs some time to execute PHP and send an email. After the script receives the response about successful sending, the page is redirected. Delays happen on the server side. Unfortunately, we cannot affect it from our side.

I have the same problem. Is it possible that when the "Submit" button is clicked it could then change colour and text to "Please wait". This would get around the server issue.

Hello,

You can only add color on the pressed button state with the editor.

Could you please add this feature in a future update please (word change on pressing "submit" and colour change), as people get impatient when they can't see anything happening. I don't think it would be too difficult to do
