Moreover another issue im facing is that when i add new blog post from nicepage it adds the latest post that i added in WP. What if i want to edit a previous post? how will i be able to do that?

WordPress blog posts cannot be edited with Nicepage, only with WordPress. In Nicepage, you can only edit the design of these posts. For displaying blog posts, Nicepage uses Post Template.

even if I write the post and go to the link of the blog post it does not have the theme I have created for my website.

If you use the Post Details Element on a Nicepage page, you can set a post ID on the right property panel. Anyway, some screenshots will be helpful for us.

If you want to change the design of your blog posts, you should modify Post Template in the Desktop or Online app. Please refer to this article: https://nicepage.com/doc/119180/post-template
