Grid repeater and uplading multiple images at once

I have to create a couple galleries with close to 100 images each. After doing research on NP forums for info on this I find that after uploading my images I cannot drag only but one at a time onto the gallery grid. NP say you can drag several. How and where is this allowed because mine will not let me select more then one even with swiping, dragging, control, or shift keys.
Then when I drop images one at a time, I get message about half way through that says too many items must add grid repeater. Grid repeater adds another block and I have to start all over again.uuuuhg!.
What is the actual process to create a multiple image gallery with MANY photos? Please.

Hi Hella, and thank for the reply.
I was trying to group add by uploading them and selecting them from the NP media manager.
Your method group selects them locally, then uploads and adds to page all in one. Very nice.

Hi Jim,

Add a Gallery control on the page and then open the explorer with the folder with your images, select the desired images and drag them to the gallery area in Nicepage. Images should be added into the gallery.

Your recommendation is a good one. Thats most likely how I will do it.
But what is the technique to be able to drag or select several photos once they are uploaded to the media directory and drop them onto the gallery?
One article even mentions that we can choose (new page) and then (create new page from folder) and the gallery will be created from the images within automatically. I cannot find that.
Latest Nicepage Plugin and editor installed on Joomla 4.2.3

Jim,

We recommend limiting the number of images in Galleries to 25 images, due to the performance drops. If you need to use that many, we recommend creating a separate page and using separate blocks adding the Gallery Element.
