Nicepage Settings: Default Page Template

Hello Nicepage.

I always wondered about the "Default Page Template" in the Nicepage Settings within the CMS and how the different options affect the the displayed pages. I'm sure there are probably other users that were wondering about these settings as well. These are my interpretations but correct me if I'm wrong:

Nicepage Header and Footer: Use when you want to use the header and footer settings created within Nicepage editor. Use this in most cases.
Theme Header and Footer: Use when you're using a theme other than the Nicepage theme. This setting only uses the header and footer sections in the selected theme but keeps all other theme settings.
Theme Template: Use when you're using a theme other than the Nicepage theme. Uses all theme settings from the selected theme in the CMS.

The thing that I'm wondering about is: what is the difference between selecting "Nicepage Header and Footer" and "Theme Template" when the Theme Template is generated from the Nicepage application. I suppose when "Theme Template" is selected, it will grab settings from that time of export of the Nicepage application whereas "Nicepage Header and Footer" will grab settings from the current state of the Nicepage Editor.

Hello Shane,

Nicepace Header and Footer, Theme Header and footer and Theme template are template configurations that can be applied to your Nicepage pages within the CMS.
These options are applicable to the pages (content) created with Nicepage.

You can change/edit header and footer in the plug-in editor on the site, then these changes will only show up on Nicepage Pages (if they use the Nicepage header and footer template).
Both other options will be using the Header and Footer from the active site theme for the pages created with Nicepage. You can change and upload different Nicepage or any other theme, and change the Header and Footer if you need for your current Nicepage pages.

If you want to have the same header and footer on all Pages in WP (including native WP Pages), please customize them in the Desktop app >> export the Theme and install on your site.

In this case, select the Theme header and footer or Theme template for Nicepage Pages.
