Product Differences?

Ask a Question

Your product list is rather confusing because they all basically look and do the same things?

Website Builder
HTML Website Builder
WYSIWYG HTML Editor
Static Site Generator
😵‍💫 ⇠ me confused?

So what is the difference between them? And which one would be the best choice for a designer that also needed to occasionally edit the HTML, CSS, and Javascript code directly? Or at least be able to include custom code if needed? Thanks for the help! ☮️

Download the desktop app and try it out.
The first week is a trial, and it's the free Starter edition after that.
It allows 1 site with up to 5 pages.
I haven't seen any comparisons to other apps in this forum.
You might find something online.

I just don't get why they have all those different apps listed when they all basically look and seem to function the same? I thought it was a simple question, but maybe not? Until someone can answer it, research it is!

I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking for comparisons to other products.
This is one app--one product.
It has 2 components.
One is a desktop app and the other is the web app. (They are separate and don't sync).
Hosting is possible, with the number of sites dependent on which license you have.
You do not need to use their host if you have your own third-party host.
The number of sites you can keep in the desktop app dashboard at the same time also differs depending on which license you have.
Sorry about my confusion.

No biggie... they really should clarify that more instead of making it seem like they are different versions. It might also be done that way to help increase their SEO and web crawler results.

Thanks for the info though! I thought they all looked pretty much the same. ☮️

I agree, the whole presentation is very confusing. The sad part for NicePage is that it's going to negatively affect their sales.
