Ask a Question

Hi,

I have made the theme with the NicePage program and in Joomla 3.10 version it works as it should (foto-01.jpg)

When I update Joomla to version 4.2.2 and use the version 4.x theme, the page numbers appear as a list (foto-02.jpg).

What could be the reason for this?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us

Please update your Nicepage Desktop app to the most recent version of Nicepage. Then export into Joomla and update the Nicepage Template and Nicepage extension for Joomla.

Best regard,

I don't think it's the most functional, because I say it, the correct thing is for the user to update Nicepage from Joomla itself, that is, update the Nicepage Plugin, without needing to update it from the desktop and then install all the template in Joomla. You have to take into account that there are many users who build almost more than 70% from Joomla with the Nicepage plugin, this implies that they have created many modules and menus, that when importing it to Joomla deletes all the menus, and recreate the menus. It is very tedious. The correct thing is to update the Nicepage plugin from Joomla itself. Theoretically it should, should correct the problem.

Thanks.

I have made the theme using the windows program. And I have exported it just as a theme, which includes fonts, etc., i.e. all pages, menus, etc. are made with joomla.

Now I tried to install the nicepage plugin, but I couldn't make any changes to anything.

It was actually done in a similar way in the 3.x version of Joomla and worked without problems, but now I would like to update to the 4.x version of Joomla

Hi,

You can continue to use export and import. Unfortunately, with the Free Starter Plan, you can't edit Nicepge pages in Joomla, but the export and import option is available for free.

Let us know if you require our assistance.

I have the Business edition, but with a different username.

I have now found out that apparently the fault is template is missing the necessary Styles for the J4 paging bars.

But the question is how do I fix the problem? How can I add the paging bars style so that it works?

Hello Jari,
OK.
Do you mean that template is missing pagination? Did you update the template? Did you add the pagination to the Blog Template on the Templates in the Quick Acess Panel?

If you have a premium plan then good. Create a private ticket and provide us temporary access so we can check the problem with pagination.

Also, check our documentation about the pagination in the blog

I still don't understand what I'm doing wrong when I can't get it to work. The blog template has been turned on (picture), but it still doesn't work on the site as it should.

Here is Joomla version 4.x where it doesn't work:

Here is Joomla version 3.x where it works as it should. I haven't even separately turned on pagination for that.

The photo gallery is implemented with Event Gallery, which is a Joomla extension
