Sorry, I do not understand your question completely. The Wide option is available for the section control and it works in al the responsive modes. Maybe you could provide some example for the better understanding.

Our wish list is quite big. Therefore it is impossible to develop each request. But we implement the most popular requests. When choosing we rely on the number of similar wishes and votes. And then we add popular requests to our backlog.
Unfortunately, I cannot say whether the asked feature will be implemented or not and when,
