Hi,
Thanks for contacting us and your interest in Nicepage
As we mentioned in the following ticket below, unfortunately, Nicepage doesn't have built-in multilingual functionality.

I am also missing this feature, even it would not be so hard to implement in my opinion.
I am bypassing this problem by manual work creating different projects for the different languages, I link them with flags and put the different versions in different folders like /de /fr /en /jp and so on.
I have to add the links manually unfortunately.

Hello,
just extended my pro for another year, as I am still a very big fan of Nicepage.
I would like to suggest the following.
For creation of websites in different languages without Wordpress or CMS system (or in other words) HTML export there could and should be improvement done.
Let me give a concrete example:
When creating websites in different languages it is common to "put" a Language switch on the website.
Currently I have (example)
Language German:
Logo
Menu (in German)
Flag (English)
Content in German
Clicking on Flag changes to
Language English
Logo
Menu (in English)
Flag (German)
Content in English
The flag is used to change the language
At the moment I am using the following structure.
I have created 2 projects in Nicepage, one for English one for German.
I have manually put the linking of the flags to
./de/index.html for the flag on the English version
and to
./en/index.html for the flag on the German version
Also I link with a flag from the different content pages from
/de/content1.html <-> /en/content1.html
When I have added the manual links I have to export both projects to HTML and make sure the folders have name de and en
My suggestion, which should not be real complicated for developers is:
Add the possibility putting different folders in one project and handle the integrated projects like two different, so we can put German version in folder 1 (with name de) and English version in folder 2 (with name en).
And very important too: Make sure that I can select the pages to link against in selection.
A default startpage to be set would be the final work.
Of course there could be much more improvement, e.g. I have added manual language recognition of user that correct language loads automatically.
I am happy to show examples to developer team.
All the best
Frank

Thanks for your reply,
it basically sounds much more complicated than it is in real.
Improving the linking structure (e.g. to link between different projects) would be nearly the complete solution.
Kind regards
info44392,

Hi Nicepage team - when opening Nicepage today I was surprised of the "Multi Language" Update, which makes a great step forward definitely.
I will check and will post all improvement wishes soon for constructive discussion quickly.
Thank you!
