Ask a Question

If I build an article in Joomla with the plugin, it doesn't work on the frontpage if I turn sef-url and url-rewrite on. It gives only a 500 error. Without url-rewrite ist works. Can anybody confirm this?

Hi,

Any News?
Nicepage is unusable, if it can't work with sef-url.

Could you please create a new Private topic and provide the access to the Joomla admin panel so our developers can investigate this issue. Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce it on our side.

Thank you,
Olivia

UPD: also, please try reproducing the issue with not Nicepage article. You should face the same issue. Nicepage creates regular joomla articles.

Hi, I too was having problems with the Joomla rewrite urls and I read the comments above, it was interesting that you said to test the urls by creating and linking an article not in Nicepage, I did this and the problem still existed even on the test page created outside Nicepage. I did some further digging for advice on the internet and found some advice that said you need to rename the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess I thought this strange as Joomla has always done this for me during site setup but for some reason when setting up this site it didn't happen, so I did it manually and everything is working fine now. Just thought it is something you could check if you are having problems like me and reading this for answers.
